A Kansas City Missouri landmark, the J.C. Nichols Memorial Fountain on the Country Club Plaza. This statue represents the Mississippi River with a American Indian horseman combating a alligator and was done by sculpter Henri-L�on Gr�ber in 1910
About Kevin Anderson
As the Back Roads Photographer, the back roads that I, shoot can be found most anywhere, but mostly in Kansas and Missouri. I enjoy a eclectic look, sometimes on the the beaten track of so many artists before me or being on a tangent, exploring new creative things. Particularly pretty in black and white, I think, Kevin - love the way the arching and spraying water looks in the lights and the glimpse of the buildings behind the fountains to give us that urban context without distracting in the least from the fountain.
