Artist's Description
A digital watercolor image converted from an award winning photo of of a monarch butterfly feeding on the nectar of a sunflower. On wing of the monarch is blurred from movement to create a non static image. The photo has won a Country magazine contest and was shortlisted on an Outdoor photography great outdoors contest along with wins on several FB contests. The digital filter used to convert it is commercial with my own settings to enhance the details yet simplify it for pleasant artful look.
About Kevin Anderson
As the Back Roads Photographer, the back roads that I, shoot can be found most anywhere, but mostly in Kansas and Missouri. I enjoy a eclectic look, sometimes on the the beaten track of so many artists before me or being on a tangent, exploring new creative things. I like to explore back roads of the country, city and of my mind. Photography is most of my images with some digital art from photograph that I feel suites the image.
