A look inside housing unit 4 or "A" hall of the decommissioned Missouri State penitentiary built in 1868 and was in use until 2004, offers a gritty or spooky feel in this black and white photo of the top three floors.

As the Back Roads Photographer, the back roads that I, shoot can be found most anywhere, but mostly in Kansas and Missouri.
