A lone sunflower highlighted in a field of sunflowers in Kansas, from behind with their heads all pointing towards the rising sun with a colorful sunrise. Heliotropism, or the following of the sun is exhibited in immature sunflower buds, but the mature flowers are usually locked towards the East to the rising sun.
